I don't have a teenage daughter yet, but I will sooner than I'd like to think about and after hearing recent statements from the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch I will never allow my daughter to shop there. At least not while I'm paying for her clothes and I will encourage her not to too.
There is so much pressure on young girls to look a certain way that we certainly don't need clothing stores chiming in on it too. It's bad enough that there's a store called 5, 7, 9 that only sells clothes in those sizes, but at least their up front about it in their name. Abercrombie is pulling clothes they consider to be plus size.
