UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Union City Police Department arrested two teenagers Tuesday after they allegedly made a threat toward Union City schools.
Police Chief Chris Mathis said in a post on the Village’s Facebook page said they took a 17 year old adult and a 16 year old juvenile into custody.
He says the incident happened after school and there was what he called a very quick response by the Union City School Administration and that the two subjects were in police custody within a very short time of the complaint.
Mathis says there was never an active danger to any students of the Union City Schools and this incident was taken care of within a very short time of having occurred.
