CLEVELAND, OH (WKZO) – Former Broncos standout Wide Receiver Juan Nunez was cut Sunday by the Cleveland Browns after signing with the team as undrafted free agent. Nunez saw limited time on the field with the Browns during their 3 preseason games. Juan finished his career as a Bronco with 190 receptions, 2337 yards receiving, and 24 touchdowns (4th, 5th, and 4th respectively on the Broncos all-time leaders for receivers). Nunez will now look for another NFL team to sign with but won’t rule out playing in the UFL or returning to Kalamazoo to earn his degree from Western Michigan.
