Nate Hutchenson Wins 2 Awards After Scoring 24 Points Against Duquesne

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) – After scoring a career high 24 points against Duquesne on Saturday, Nate Hutchenson has been awarded the MAC West Division Player of the Week, as well as the College Sports Madness MAC Player of the Week. This is the first time in Hutcheson’s career that he received either award.

Hutchenson scored his 24 points on 7 of 9 shooting from the field and made all 8 of his free throw attempts. He also added 6 rebounds.

Matt Stainbrook was also named College Sports Madness MAC Player of the Week during the first week of the season.

The Broncos return to action on Tuesday as the host Winthrop at 7pm at University Arena.
