20 teams spent New Year's Eve morning playing a fast brand of indoor soccer, as part of the annual Coldwater Clash 3 vs 3 Futsal Tournament at Coldwater High School. The event, a fundraiser for the Coldwater High soccer programs, drew teams from Coldwater, Quincy, Hillsdale, Reading, and Tecumseh.
In the boys high school division, the winning team was Barcha, consisting of Yousif Aljabaly, Mohamed Aljabaly, Nooh Aljabaly, Rashed Naji, and Walid Saleh.
The girls high school division winner was Rush, consisting of Brea Case, Abigail Yager, Opal Farwell, and Kaitlyn Vella.
The boys U-14 division winner was Purple Platypuses, a squad from Hillsdale made up of Augustine Siegel, Hebren Hein, and Josh Nowak.
The girls U-12 winner from Quincy was Just Q It, made up of Cailyn Cook, Allison Parshall, Mikayla Davis, and Payton Hines.
The U-10 division winner was HSC Real Madrid, consisting of Katy Kempa, Benedict Siegel, Jerome Siegel, and Gretchen Siegel
