As part of Coldwater's Icefest 2012 Saturday, ice carvers John and Tony battled it out.  They each had 15 minutes to create a high school mascot out of a block of ice.  John was carving a Quincy Oriole and Tony a Coldwater Cardinal.

As the time wound down and the crowd got into it, here's how the finished products looked.

When they were all done, the crowd deemed it a tie between the two carvers.  Later in the day they battled it out carving a Bronson Viking and a Union City Charger.
