Shades of Grey Closes Out the 2012 Entertainment Under the Stars Concert Series

Get ready Shades of Grey will have your toes tapping and fingers snapping with the sound of Good Ole 60’s and 70’s Rock and Roll for the final concert of the 2012 Entertainment Under the Stars series.  Yes, Shades of Grey are back again for the final concert this Tuesday, July 31st, at Cannon Park next to Putnam Funeral Home in Downtown Coldwater beginning at 7 p.m.

Featured this evening will be original members Jim Voss, Chris Edwards, Tom Puyear, Betty Sale and special guests Jeff McGinnis.  Jonathan Voss a member of Shades of Grey, the next generation will round out this prestigious group.  Chris Edwards will be playing guitar and hails now from Warrenton, Virginia; Tom Puyear will be on keyboards and is now living in Lansing, Michigan; Jeff McGinnis will be lead vocalist and hails from Battle Creek, Michigan; Jim and Jonathan Voss will be playing drums and are both live in Coldwater  

Shades of Grey do a mix of popular songs covering the 60’s and 70’s and maybe even one from the 80’s.  Among the songs are –Love Train; Mustang Sally, My Girl and other great toe tapping songs that you can dance or sing along with.  They always mix it up with a variety of styles.

Don’t miss the hog roast the Branch Interfaith Hospitality Network (BIHN) will be hosting at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall adjacent to the concert venue from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. 

Free BATA service will be provided to senior housing residents thanks to Gillespie, Dutcher and Putnam Funeral Homes.   Call BATA at 278-5889 to schedule a ride.  In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Masonic Temple (45 E. Chicago), one block east of the park.
