Coldwater High School is honored to present the September 2012 students of the month: 

Katie Stanton, the Daughter of Shelly Stanton, is a 9th grade student at Coldwater High School. Her favorite class is Social Studies with Ms. Kiss and she is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, and the CHS Spanish club.  Stanton’s favorite part of being a Cardinal is being to wear the school colors of red and white. In her spare time Katie enjoys relaxing and being with her friends. In the future she would like to achieve her goals by become an actress.

Luke Beckhusen, the son of Eric and Dawn Beckhusen, is a 9th grade student at Coldwater High School. His favorite subject is History, and he is involved in JV football, basketball, and AAU basketball in Ft. Wayne when the school season is over. Beckhusen’s favorite part of being a cardinal is the extracurricular activities at Coldwater and the atmosphere around the school. In his spare time he enjoys playing sports and hanging out with his friends. In the future Beckhusen hopes to play football or basketball in college, also become a chiropractor.

Brandi Fox, daughter of Dawn Fox, is a 10th grade student at Coldwater High School. Her favorite class is Chemistry. In her spare time she enjoys reading and also has a passion for music. She is currently involved in band and the internet club. She is planning on joining basketball in the winter and track in the spring. Fox’s favorite part of being a Cardinal is the school spirit, and feels Mrs. Kiss and Mrs. Wendorf start the fire that drives the school spirit to its peak. In her future she plans on attending Michigan University or an Ivy League school. As of right now she isn't certain of what she wants to do for her career.

Corey Brewster, son of Steve Brewster, is a 10th grade student at Coldwater High School where he takes his favorite class, biology. In school he does football, bowling and lifting weights. In his spare time he studies philosophy and physics and hangs out with friends. Brewster’s favorite part of being a Cardinal is being on a sports team. In his future he plans on going to college and earn a P.H.D. in Theoretical Physics.

Jessica Becks is an 11th grade student at Coldwater High School. Her favorite class is weight training. In Becks’ spare time she loves playing sports, hanging out with friends, and having fun. She plays basketball and softball for the school. Beck’s favorite part of being a Cardinal is school spirit, especially in sports. In the future she plans on going in the Armed Forces.

Isaiah Osborne, son of Kathy and Kim Moler, is an 11th grade student at Coldwater High School. His favorite class this year is math. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with friends and walking around town. Osborne’s favorite part of being a Cardinal is the school spirit and support for CHS sports. In the future he plans on going to college and getting a job.

Sara Owens, the daughter of Karan and Joe Owens, is a 12th grade student at Coldwater High School. She likes all of her classes this year and thinks all of her teachers are great. In her spare time she likes going to church and youth groups, as well as volunteering at CHC. She has also hosted foreign exchange students over the past two years. Owen’s favorite part of being a Cardinal is being able to be with her friends and knowing that all of the teachers and staff will help you; it’ amazing. In the future she would like to become a registered nurse at Glen Oaks.

David Williams, the son of David Williams, is a 12th grade student at Coldwater High School. His favorite class is health class. In his spare time he enjoys drawing, playing video games and hanging out with friends. William’s favorite part of being a Cardinal is showing off his school spirit. In the future he plans on going to MTCI for design.
