Monarch Community Bank welcomes Peggy Day, vice president and regional banking officer to the branch at 107 N. Park on the circle in Marshall. Day comes to the bank from Marshall Community Credit Union and has 26 years of prior experience in finance. Her responsibilities will include overseeing the operations at the Marshall branches and growing business in Calhoun County.
Day is a graduate of Marshall High School and of Western Michigan University, where she obtained degrees in finance and management. She continues to reside in Marshall with her husband Bob, and their children Joe and Calvin. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family at their cottage.
Day is actively involved with the Marshall Rotary Club, Junior Achievement board chair, Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, and in 2009 she nominated as one of the Top Women in Finance in the West Michigan Business Review.
When asked what she’s looking forward to in her new position she said, “I’m excited to work with friends and family in the community”.
