Each month the Community Health Center of Branch County (CHC) honors its Employee of the Month with a special recognition and gifts. Nominated by his or her peers, this employee exemplifies positive work ethic and customer service.

In April, CHC administration and staff recognized Lisa Kingston as the Employee of the Month. Kingston is a Medical Technologist in the Laboratory and has worked at CHC since September of 1983. Kingston monitors quality control, performs testing in hematology, and also is part of CHC’s Cost Containment Committee. According to her nominator, “Lisa is hard working and dedicated to quality patient care. She is professional in every aspect of her job. Lisa is always willing to provide input on how processes can be improved and is committed to being part of the solution. She also provides excellent customer service and is conscientious of the quality of her work, which is always error free. Lisa represents all of the qualities you would expect in an Employee of the Month”.

Kingston received a B.S. in Medical Technology from Ferris State University in 1983 and graduated from St. Johns High School. She has been married to husband Jess for 25 years and together have two children, Adam, 21 and Lindsey, 19. In her spare time, Lisa likes playing tennis, reading, playing the piano, working out, gardening, crafts, and scrapbooking.

Congratulations, Lisa on earning this well deserved award.
