Entertainment Under The Stars

COLDWATER (WTVB) - The Coldwater Downtown Business Association and the Downtown Development Authority say this summer’s 2010 Entertainment Under the Stars Concert Series is sure to be a winner this year with four great bands and the Tibbits Summer Theater cast showing off their talents. The season kicks off in less than three weeks on Tuesday July 6t with entertainer extraordinaire -- Jim Stout.

Again this year, the Branch County Association of Realtors will be providing FREE ice cream sundaes as a thank you to the community. The July 13th concert will feature the Daybreak Trio with a wide variety of musical styles. Habitat for Humanity will have a Taco Bar at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall prior to the concert. The July 20th and third evening in the concert series will feature Tidbits from the Tibbits. Members of the Professional Summer Theater Cast will perform some of their favorite songs as well as a selection of songs from the 2010 Summer Theater Season. Randall Hazelbaker and his newly reformed group – The Randall Hazelbaker Quartet will be playing immediately following Tidbits from the Tibbits.

The United Methodist Men’s Club will be dishing up ice cream sundaes in the Fellowship Hall before the concert. The final concert on July 27th will see Jim Voss and Friends back with The Shades Of Gray, This final concert of the season will also have food available – the Branch Interfaith Hospitality Network will have a hog roast prior to the concert. The D-B-A and D-D-A say bring your own lawn chair or blanket and come enjoy some great entertainment and food. Some chairs will be available, thanks to Putnam Funeral Home..

Free BATA service will be provided to senior housing residents thanks to Gillespie, Dutcher and Putnam Funeral Homes. Entertainment Under the Stars is made possible this year by support from Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, Infinisource, Monarch Community Bank, Branch County Community Foundation, Dairy Queen of Coldwater, the Coldwater Downtown Business Association (DBA) and Coldwater Downtown Development Authority.
