Coldwater – Phil’s Driving School is pleased to announce its partnership with John & Rachel Ayres. The school’s newest instructors will be offering classes this summer on Lake Michigan’s Beaver Island in conjunction with the local school system there. Mr. Ayres has been a driver education instructor for over 10 years. Mr. Ayres is also employed with Central Michigan University to teach and certify new driver education specialists. Mrs. Ayres has also been a driver education instructor for over ten years.

Co-Owner Tasha Hickey said, “I was pleased when an opportunity came up to partner with John and Rachel. We pride ourselves on providing safe and effective education methods. Apparently that reputation is circulating statewide within the driver education provider community and we believe that helped to make this partnership possible. I’m happy that we will be able to extend the Phil’s Driving School name to serve the residents and vacationers on Beaver Island this summer.” The school also recently announced its new location for the summer of 2010.

Mrs. Hickey went on to say, “We are pleased we’ve made the move to the former Video Time store in the Felpausch Shopping Center. The store has a terrific location and we hope we receive enough positive feedback that we would consider extending our time there.” Another change for the school is its announcement that it will now accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Phil’s Driving School, LLC, has been serving south central Michigan since 2003. According to the school’s website at www.philsdrivingschool.net the school strives to provide safe, quality, and affordable driver education. The school primarily provides teen driver education. The school also offers adult driver education. For young people reaching the age of 14 years and 8 months the next segment one driver training class will begin Monday, July 12th.
