Downtown Coldwater has excellent service businesses and the House of Beauty located at 44 W. Chicago Street has been in downtown Coldwater since 1956 is a prime example of a long-standing great downtown business.
Brenda Roberts, owner of the House of Beauty is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to her downtown business.
Alisha Gaylord a native of Union City, Michigan, has recently joined forces at the House of Beauty after graduating from the Salon Academy in Coldwater in February of this year. Alisha has been trained in all areas of hairdressing and loves working on formal hair styles as well as hair coloring, great haircuts, waxing and is getting started on gel nails. Her hours of work are Monday thru Friday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Patricia Havens joined the House of Beauty as a licensed cosmetologist working on the complete hair service, eyebrow and lip waxing as well as manicures and pedicures. Patricia is a Coldwater native. Havens graduated from The Salon Academy in April of this year. Patricia and her husband, Grant, live in Coldwater with their two daughters and two sons. Patricia’ is available Monday thru Saturday.
Corey Collins, President of the Downtown Business Association (DBA), commented that he “is very pleased to see that this long-time business is expanding and doing well. We have a very strong service and retail mix and seeing additions to our downtown businesses just proves that downtown Coldwater continues to remain a strong and viable business area.”
The House of Beauty has four additional members of their salon staff that can handle all your hair care waxing, manicures, pedicures and tanning needs. Karla Heminger, Carol Smith, Denise Akins and Brenda Roberts round out the salon staff that now includes Alisha and Patricia.
