The Branch County Association of REALTORS® held their annual Christmas party and installation of board members on December 1 at the Golf Club of Coldwater. State Senator Bruce Caswell installed the new officers and directors. The new board members are: Debora Lounds-Bowers, president; Sherry Haylett, vice president; Jami Lind, treasurer; James Bowers, secretary; directors John Schroll, Pam Uetrecht, Jeanni Lint and Jim Borden; Connie Curio, affiliate director; and Dennis Dirschell, immediate past president.

Honored for years of membership were: Faye Schlatter, Jane Bonfiglio and Dave Pope for 15 years; Nancy Miller, Cindy Hobbs, Debbie Lounds-Bowers and Pam Uetrecht for 25 years; and Lois Keeton for 35 years.

The group recognized Mary Ann Ford, Barb Mullally and Dave Wright for their service as members of the Board of Directors.

Jami Lind was honored with the president’s award for her service to the BCAR as treasurer, committee member and part time assistant at the BCAR office.

The affiliate of the year award was presented to Eric Ellison of Infinity Mortgage.

The 2010 Realtor of the year was awarded to Marilyn Ostrander.

The evening continued with a charity auction lead by volunteers Bruce Hauska, Steve Burns, Dick Aker and John Rohloff. Proceeds were given to theBranch County United Way, with the donation being earmarked for home heating assistance.

The Branch County Association of REALTORS® was established in 1958. The group’s membership is made up of Realtors, appraisers, lenders, title companies and home inspectors.
