The Branch County Association of Realtors held their annual Christmas Party and Charity Auction in celebration of the holidays. Members donated items to be auctioned at the event, and local realtor and Auctioneers Bruce Hauska and Steve Burns presided over the auction.

Top sellers for the night were a pecan pie by Dennis Dirschell, which tied with a popcorn machine donated by Pam Uetrecht.
The auction, which raised $4000 for the Branch County United Way is just one of the many ways the BCAR helps the community throughout the year. The organization and its members sponsored an ice cream social at Entertainment Under the Stars last summer, and adopted a family for Christmas. The proceeds from this year’s auction will be used to help families in need with heat bills. The Branch County Association of Realtors has donated over $11,000 to the Branch County community in 2011.
