A model Employee of the Month is made up of team work, customer services, and leadership. TerraDepewexemplifies all those characteristics and more, which is why she was presented the Employee of the Month Award at CHC for November.

Terra was hired by the CHC Foundation in March 2010 as Fund Development Coordinator.  She serves on the CHC customer service steering committee and the Welcome Our Worker committee (W.O.W.). 

According to her nominator, “Terra has become a great asset to CHC and the Foundation.  She exhibits consistent excellent customer service; she promotes both CHC and the Foundation internally and in the community.  She is a loyal hardworking member of the CHC staff.  If she has a weakness, it is her inability to say no.  She’s always ready to lend an extra hand.  She brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to committees.  All in all she’s a pleasure to work with and an excellent candidate for the employee of the month.”

Terra graduated from Gull Lake High School.  She received her Bachelor’s degree fromPurdueUniversityin Health Sciences.  Prior to working at CHC, she lived inAtlanta,Georgia, and worked at Visiting Nurse/Hospice.  Terra has also worked as a Medical Technologist and Medical Transcriptionist. 

Terra is married to Mic Depew who is a trust assistant at Southern Michigan Bank & Trust.  They have two children: Evan who is 3 years old and Avery who is 1 year old.  They reside in Coldwater.  Terra enjoys playing co-ed volleyball and recreational softball.  She loves spending time with her family and attending community events.  Currently, Terra is the Fellowship Chair of the Sunrise Rotary and part of Branch County Business Networking International.
