Harbaugh Named Employee Of The Month At CHC

To work in Cardiac Rehab a nurse must strive to support his or her patients. Due to his ability to support his patients in many different ways, Arthur “Grant” Harbaugh has been named the Community Health Center of Branch County August Employee of the Month.

Grant was hired January 17, 2006 as an RN.  He is currently a registered nurse in Cardiac Rehab.  Grant has been an RN in CCU, ER, Wound Healing Clinic, and a float nurse. According to his nominator, “Grant is an exceptional RN.  His knowledge, clinical skills, and compassionate care are an inspiration to all the lives he touches.  He is a true patient advocate and strives to provide immediate support for the emotional and physical needs of patients and families.  Grant works well with all the members of the team and goes above and beyond by providing excellent patient care in Cardiac Rehab, ER, and theWoundHealingCenter.  He is a positive representative of CHC’s mission, vision, and values; and I am proud to nominate Grant for Employee of the Month!”

Grant was an orderly from 1980-1982.  He was a Licensed Vocational Nurse from 1982-1986.  He received his Registered Nursing degree in 1986 fromModestoJunior CollegeinModena,California.  Grant is married to Registered Nurse Joanna Harbaugh, who is also a nurse at CHC.  Together they have two children; Claire, age 15; and Mason, age 13.  He enjoys music and long walks on the beach.
