The Small Business Foundation of Michigan's eighth annual Entrepreneurship Score Card ranked Michigan 15th in the nation in 2011, up 30 slots from its 2010 ranking of 45th.
Rob Fowler, president and CEO of the Small Business Association of Michigan said this is a strong indicator of healthier conditions for future small business and entrepreneurial activity.
The scorecard also found that Michigan's five-year business survival rate, lagging since 2003, is now at the U.S. average
