John H. Castle, Chairman and CEO of Southern Michigan Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Grabowski to First Vice President / Head of Commercial Lending.

As Head of Commercial Lending, Nick will be responsible for commercial loan functions bank wide. Grabowski is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He also attended the ABA National Commercial Lending School in Dallas, Texas.

In 2003, Grabowski began his banking career with SMB&T as the Managed Assets Manager and was promoted to Assistant Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer in 2005 and again promoted to Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer in 2008. Nick is involved in the community as a board member of the Coldwater Noon Exchange Club.
