"The True Trim Garden Gnomes will be helping the Naomi Davis Shelterhouse and Laura’s Place this year - as they believe in aiding and supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence by standing up to say "NO MORE". They know that together we can prevent domestic and sexual violence!
How are they doing this???
This Saturday, True Trim will have a float in the Halloween Parade. BranchCountyCoalition Against Domestic Violence volunteers and employees will be walking along and handing out 278-safe cards promoting local services.
Whether it be breast cancer awareness, standing up against domestic violence or other causes in our community; there are ways to help other than with cash donations. Providing organizations with services can be just as effective. Kim Hemker from Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence says, "Local companies such as True Trim that donate services or show their support by their positive actions is why I loveBranchCounty. Who says that chivalry is dead? Wearing pink shirts or garden gnome costumes is not their heart's desire I am sure, but it is so heartwarming for a group to be so supportive of family issues. That is why this business will stay in business, because they have heart and integrity. Thank you True Trim."
