U.S. Department of Agriculture Analysts expected this year’s corn crop to be monstrous - but they now say it may not even set a new record due to heat and drought. Experts have now taken 20-bushels per acre off the corn yield forecast - now at 146-bushels per acre - which would take the crop down to under 13-billion bushels.
