It's back! Granted it's getting cold in the Northland, but you still have time to check out the all-new old swinging bridge in Minnesota's Jay Cooke State Park. The iconic swinging bridge was destroyed in the flood of 2012. The new look old bridge is actually closer to the original 1934 version, which had to be repaired in 1950 when a flood also damaged the landmark. Pretty impressive...and this from a guy who doesn't like heights- it's worth the trip to Jay Cooke!
Be sure to travel the hiking trails on the other side, and stop to admire the carved rocks, rushing river and wonderful waterfalls!
