Blacks were discriminated against, deprived of opportunities, because of their skin color. You can believe homosexuality is a sin without discriminating against or mistreating gays. If Monk told Starnes something that is false, that's another matter. But regardless, the allegation that opposition to gay marriage at Lackland is one that needs to be addressed.
