(Grand Rapids, MI) -- Concerned parents and teachers continue to discuss changes coming to the Grand Rapids Public School district. A second meeting took place last night, regarding the changes, which will affect four high schools. The new teaching models recently proposed by GRPS officials include more online classroom instruction or e-learning. The new system would allow students to use computers for instruction, homework and testing during the day. Teachers would still monitor classrooms. Parents will be given the option, however, to allow their child to stick to traditional lectures, if they wish.
