SCHOFIELD, Wis. (WSAU) – Everest Metro police caught a 24-year-old Wausau man breaking into a Schofield business early this morning.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at Lebakken’s Rent to Own on Grand Avenue about 5:30 a.m. They saw Jon Mondroski leaving a door with a flat screen TV.
Officers told Mondroski to stop. He dropped the TV and ran away. Police caught him a short time later.
Mondroski will appear in court Tuesday on charges including burglary, theft, criminal damage to property and obstructing an officer.
