KALAMAZOO (WTVB) - A regional farmer’s market for Southwest Michigan could be in the works. Very Preliminary plans are being look for the possibility of establishing a year round Indoor farmer’s market somewhere in Kalamazoo that could serve an 8 county region.
Kalamazoo County Board Chair Dave Buskirk says the USDA is organizing a field trip for local officials to visit Detroit’s Eastern Market late next month, to get some ideas. He says County officials and perhaps some township officials will be making the trip.
