COLDWATER (WTVB) - Branch County’s November election ballot is expected to include a renewal of a jail millage levy. The county says it will be saving thousands of dollars by having the millage decided this fall rather than in 2011 when the levy actually expires at the end of next year.
The projected cost savings is around 25-thousand dollars. Next Tuesday for the August primary election there are two renewal levies on the ballot, one for the Branch Area Transit Authority and the other for the Commission on Aging.
