COLDWATER (WTVB) -- The candidates for governor are beginning to turn their attention to Branch County. State Senator Tom George of Kalamazoo will be the guest speaker at tonight’s Branch County Republican Party Executive Committee meeting at the Coldwater Township Hall at 6 pm.
Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard has also been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the party’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner at the Dearth Center on April 16th. Congressman Pete Hoekstra of Holland last month made an appearance at Branch County Farmer’s Day and the monthly meeting of the Branch County Republican Women’s organization.
