COLDWATER (WTVB) - May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month in Michigan and with several hundred motorcycles expected in Coldwater this weekend for the annual car-cycle show and swap meet, it’s the perfect time to remind everyone about the importance of paying attention to the bikers who are heading out in greater numbers as the weather gets warmer.

A motorcycle endorsement on a driver's license is required to use the machines on state roads and riders must complete a knowledge test and a safety course with a third-party tester before they can get that endorsement.
