KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A few flakes of snow could be seen Thursday night and Friday morning, but nothing stuck, though the first accumulation could be seen sometime early in the weekend.
If and when it comes, the Kalamazoo County Road Commission is ready for it .
"We're better than expected, and that's a good thing," Joanna Johnson with the Kalamazoo County Road Commission said, referring to the lack of snow so far, which has proved advantageous, at least as far as the budget is concerned.
She asks that everyone remember to give snow plows plenty of space on the roadway.
"[Don't] crowd the plow, as [they] can move sideways from hitting drifts or cutting through packed snow, so it's important to give them room," Johnson said.
