KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Second Degree Murder charges have been brought against 19-year-old Jamall Stegall, the Kalamazoo man who sped from police Tuesday night and caused an accident at Vine and Westnedge that killed a Portage Man.
Prosecutor Jeff Fink says Stegall wasn’t just involved in a crash, he was speeding, disregarding traffic signals, running from police, and actually drove around another car stopped at the red light before smashing into Brian Arra’s SUV, killing him. If convicted he could get life.
He is also being charged with two lesser counts. During his video arraignment, the Judge called Stegall a danger to the community and denied bond.
