(Mackinac City, MI) -- Before Jennifer Granholm, it was tradition for governors to walk the Mackinac Bridge on Labour Day. She changed that by running across the five-mile span, and did so for the final time as Michigan's governor yesterday with 400 others. An estimated 42-thousand people followed with the walk. Granholm said she hopes whoever wins the election in November will continue her tradition of running the bridge.
