(Olive Twp., MI - WHTC News) - The Ottawa County Road Commission yesterday approved a nearly 27.2 million-dollar budget for 2011, which includes improvement projects on about 13 miles of primary roads, down from 15.6 miles this year. Reduced state gas tax revenues were cited as the reason for the cut back. The commission also OK’d a three-year contract with AFSCME mechanics, drivers and laborers which gives them their first raise since 2007.
