WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The House of Representatives will vote on a stopgap budget bill on Thursday afternoon that would give negotiators one more week to reach a deal before the government would shut down, according to an aide to House Republican Leader Eric Cantor.

Democrats have said that bill is a "nonstarter" in the Senate.
