Michigan first year head coach Brady Hoke said he liked the tempo of yesterday’s opening pre-season practice. He wants the Wolverines to be more physical this season and is confident that can happen with what he’s seen of some promising players either slimming down or bulking up. Michigan’s season starts September Third at home against Western Michigan.
Meanwhile, the Wolverines learned Monday that their already prized 2012 recruiting class picked up another major commitment with four-star defensive tackle Ondre Pipkins from Kansas City,Missouri announcing his choice to play a tMichigan. Pipkins, who is a Saginaw native, decided on the U-of-M over Alabama, Oklahoma,Florida and Tennessee.
