QUINCY, MI (WTVB) - A pair of proposed industrial tax breaks are on the agenda tonight for the Quincy Village Council. The largest application for a tax exemption certificate comes from Star of the West Milling for the company’s nearly one million dollar improvement project.

Village Manager Eric Zuzga said Star of the West is re-investing in their facility in Quincy rather than moving from the area. He also said there would be no additional jobs created as a result of the project. The other certificate request was submitted by EAB Fabrication for nearly 19-thousdand dollars in equipment upgrades.
