DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Ford Motor Company's U.S. retail sales jumped 20-percent in November, marking the largest year-over-year increase in nine months. The Dearborn-based automaker posted double-digit percentage sales gains for Fiesta, Fusion, Escape, Explorer, F-Series, Econoline and Ranger.
Ford Vice President Ken Czubay says, "with gasoline prices continuing to track higher than last year, consumers continue to value fuel economy, no matter what size or kind of vehicle best meets their needs." Ford plans to increase production in the first quarter of 2012 by three-percent over the same period in 2011.
