LAKE MICHIGAN, MI (WKZO) -- A group of Lake Michigan divers this month announced that it's discovered an old shipwreck in the waters of the Great Lake, between New Buffalo and Saint Joseph. Members of the Michigan Underwater Divers made their discovery public to the Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven last week.
They say that they found an 80 foot schooner, thought to have been built in the 1800 hundreds, submerged about 70 feet below the surface of Lake Michigan in October, 15 miles off shore. T
