DETROIT, Mich (WLMI) After a two-year hiatus—General Motors will be making a return to the Super Bowl. The auto giant plans to run a series of advertisements and sponsor the FOX post-game show on February 6th—that’s where they’ll present the most valuable player with a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. According to the Detroit News—GM purchased five, 30-second spots during the Super Bowl—each spot may have cost up to 3-million dollars each. GM is one of at least eight automakers to buy commercial airtime during the game.
