TERRE HAUTE, IN (WIBQ) -- Indiana State Police say they've arrested seven people on charges related to the fatal shooting of Officer Long including the wife of the alleged gunman. Heather Elkins of Terre Haute was arrested Thursday night on charges of resisting law enforcement and maintaining a public nuisance. She's the 22-year-old wife of Shaun Seeley, who police say mortally shot Officer Brent Long on Monday before dying in the shootout. Elkins’ brother and a cousin of Seeley were also among the seven people arrested Thursday. At least five of the suspects were expected in court today.
