QUINCY, MI (WTVB) - A Quincy woman and a Tekonsha man were taken last night to the Community Health Center of Branch County following ORV-Pedestrian accident in Butler Township.
The Sheriff’s Department said that 24-year old Christopher Smith lost control of the Yamaha Raptor 600 and was thrown from the machine, which then struck 33-year old Sindy Lindsey, who was standing near by.
Smith had a helmet on. Deputies said alcohol was not a factor in the crash that happened around 6:15 p.m. on property at 813 Clarendon Road. Smith and Lindsey were treated and released from the hospital. Deputies were assisted by the Quincy Fire Department and Lifecare Ambulance.
