DEARBORN, MI (Metro Source) - Michigan drivers are paying more for gasoline than any other state except Alaska. Triple-A's daily fuel gauge report put the state's average at $4.12 a gallon to start the week, up 17 cents in a week and second only to $4.25 in Alaska. The cheapest fuel is in Tennessee where drivers are paying 60 cents less than in Michigan. Memorial Day Weekend storms that damaged pipe lines are being blamed for this state’s high gas prices.
