COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Efforts by the Branch County Coalition against Domestic Violence to fine tune and expand their reach in the community will find a nationally renowned expert in the field coming to Coldwater this fall to highlight a day long training session for service providers.

On Wednesday Sept 28^th,  David Garvin, a batterer Intervention expert will address the conference titled  "Understanding a Domestic Violence Batterer  - Unraveling the Manipulation, Styles and Strategies of Perpetrators of Domestic Violence."

The intended audience includes law enforcement, court personnel, prosecution, social service providers, religious leadership and other professionals who interface with batterers. The coalition is asking for RSVP's from those who would be attending for planning purposes with theDearthCenterreserved and breakfast and lunch being provided.
