NASCAR race car owner Rick Hendrick and his wife Linda suffered minor injuries after the private aircraft they were in crash-landed at the Key West International Airport Monday evening.
The "Charlotte News Observer" reports a Gulfstream 150 jet registered to Jimmie Johnson Racing and transporting Hendrick and his wife along with a pilot and co-pilot touched down after radioing that there were no brakes upon landing.
The four on board were taken to Lower Keys hospital for treatment. The plane ran completely off the runway. Johnson drives in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for Hendrick who owns Hendrick Motorsports.
