SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A familiar name in Sheboygan area politics says he will run against Mayor Bob Ryan when if and when a recall election is certified.  Former State Representative Terry Van Akkeren announced on WHBL's Sheboygan's Morning News on Tuesday that he has filed his intention to run.  The race would be a rematch of the April election two and a half years ago when Ryan defeated Van Akkeren.  Van Akkeren said it’s time to bring leadership, stability and integrity back to the office of mayor.  The recall effort began after Ryan refused to resign in the wake of his latest drinking episode last July.
