COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Signs that the economy in Coldwater is perking up a bit will be evident when the City Planning Commission meets Tuesday night. The Commission agenda includes several items related to the Culver’s Restaurant that’s coming to a location on Coldwater’s East side along U-S-12, just west of the Rite-Aid store. It’s expected to employ up to 70 part and full-time workers.

And then there’s Putnam Machine products. The planning commission will conduct a site plan review for a 10-thousand square foot expansion to an existing building for the business on Cecil Drive. Putnam says 4-to-10 additional employees will be added as a result of the expansion
