Michigan coach Brady Hoke held his weekly news conference Monday to look back at his team’s rain shortened 34-to-10 win Saturday over Western Michigan in Ann Arbor in Hoke’s debut with the Wolverines and previewed U-of-M’s contest coming up Saturday night against Notre Dame at the Big House.

Hoke said the hard part for the team and the coaching staff will be the waiting game on Saturday for a night time encounter with the Fighting Irish, who opened their season in South Bend with a 23-to-20 loss to South Florida.

Michigan State, meanwhile, prepares for a home game Saturday vs. Florida Atlantic and then the following Saturday, the Spartans play at Notre Dame. M-S-U started its season Friday with a 28-to-6 win over Youngstown State. The first week of the season wrapped up last night with Maryland winning 32-to-24 at home over Miami-Florida.
