SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) - Today begins a year of restricted driving privileges for state House Representative Bob Genetski. The second-term Republican from Saugatuck had refused to undergo a breathalyzer test when he was pulled over by a MSU campus officer in East Lansing after the State of the State Address on January 19th. He was able to get court approval to drive to the Capitol until next April 8th. Genetski is contesting drunken driving charges.
