The Pistons were mauled by the Magic last night in Orlando 119-to-89, leaving Detroit 0-and-3 on its four game road trip. The Pistons had beaten Orlando in their two meetings this season and the Magic played again last night without star center Dwight Howard, who missed his third straight contest with back spasms.
But that didn’t stop Detroit from being handed its most lopsided loss of the year. Orlando made 15 of 28 triples, including 6-of-7 for former MSU standout Jason Richardson, who finished with a game-high 22 points.
Tayshaun Prince had 21 points and eight rebounds for the Pistons. Detroit, after 4 games in 5 nights, gets two days off before playing Thursday night at Charlotte. i
