Prized recruit Nerlens Noel announced last night that he will play at Kentucky. Noel revealed his decision when he showed the Kentucky logo shaved into the back of his head during a nationally-televised special.
Noel chose the defending national champion Wildcats over Georgetown and Syracuse. The 6-foot-10 Noel averaged 30 points per game during his senior year of high school.
Meanwhile, UCLA's chances for a resurgence next year greatly improved last night. Shabazz Muhammad, another of the highest-rated high school basketball prospects in the country, announced he will be heading to UCLA. Muhammad is a 6-foot-5 swingman from Las Vegas. He chose the Bruins over Kentucky and Duke.
